The Miracle League of Moon Twp would like to thank the following groups for volunteering during our Spring 2024 Season. Moon Area High School Teams: Boys Basketball, Girls Lacrosse. Football, Boys Soccer, Softball, and Baseball. And also, Michael and Nicole Reed Team at Coldwell Banker Realty.
Eagle Scout Aidan Wood donates to the Miracle League!
The Miracle League of Moon Township was honored to be selected by Aidan Wood , Moon Area High School student, to be part of his Eagle Scout project.
“When presented with the opportunity to work with the Miracle League, I was very excited to help. It was an honor to provide accessible storage for the athletes. This project showed me how important it is to accommodate for everyone” according to Aidan.
“Aidan contacted last year asking us if we could partner. After our first meeting, it was clear Aidan would make an impact” said Miracle League President Mike Magulick. “ We met a few times and exchanged ideas and a month later Aidan presented his plan.”
Aidan received all the approvals from the Boys Scouts and began construction finishing in February.
“The new storage shelving provides badly needed organization , however, more importantly now regardless of mobility anyone can help us take the equipment to the field, get shirts for athletes, bring first aide, etc.,” Magulick said.
All current and future participants thank Aidan for Creating Miracles in Moon.
